Our Experience

Although, Aapex is a relatively new name in the local market with 5+ years and growing strong, we have been successful business owners for years dominating the market in the southern part of Ohio, Texas and Colorado.  We have pulled from our 20+ years’ experience to assemble some of the top craftsmen in our industry from carpentry, drywall & finishing, roofing, plumbing, electrical, etc.  Our team is both exceptional in workmanship and customer service.

Licensing, Certification, Insurance

Aapex has all of the proper licensing, certifications, insurance & workers’ comp requirements in place to work in the State of Ohio. In fact, a copy of our current Certificate of Insurance is provided to all our clients with our proposals.  We, as a General Contractor, are not required to hold a certification / license in the State of Ohio.  However, we can assure you that all of our specialty trades hold a current certification / license as required by Ohio law.  As a company, we are required to provide all of the current, necessary paperwork in order to become a registered contractor and pull any permit(s) necessary to complete a project.

Handling Payments with Respect

Aapex works with both insurance claim payments and self-pay clients.  We will first assess your project and provide you with a scope of work and pricing (estimate/proposal).  We will determine if it is even necessary to file an insurance claim.

Once a contract is signed and pricing is agreed upon we will issue an Invoice requiring one-half down and the remainder upon completion for all of our self-pay clients.  Like with any other home projects there may or may not be unforeseen additional expenses.  Those expenses will be addressed directly with the client via a change order and will be signed off on by both the client and contractor before moving forward.  We are a very transparent company and pride ourselves in being upfront in all aspects.  After completion, we will walk through the project with our clients and answer any questions or concerns that they may have.  We will ask that with the final payment a Certificate of Satisfaction be signed.

The insurance claim payments are handled a little differently.  Once we complete our assessment of your damage and a contract is signed between Aapex and the policyholder, we then take over working directly with your insurer.  We specialize in running claims with all of the major insurance carriers.  It is our job as your General Contractor to make sure our clients’ experience is as hassle free and runs as smooth as possible. Our payments are issued by the insurer through the policyholder and will normally include our company name directly on the check.  The only out-of-pocket portion of the claim the policyholder is responsible for is their deductible and any upgrades they as a homeowner would like to implement above the insurance work.    We collect all insurance payments issued during the project has they come in.  This enables Aapex to keep the project moving forward with its anticipated completion date.  Once the project has been completed and the policyholder signs off on our Certificate of Satisfaction, all of the proper documentation required by the insurer is submitted and our final payment is released.

With either of the above payment options our clients meet in person with our financial officer / advisor to go over all the ins and outs.  We answer all of the concerns and questions prior to the project start and we are available for any concern(s) throughout as well.

We do offer special financing through our partners. We will provide all of the necessary information during our finance meeting.
